"I am delighted to welcome Ronnie Flowers to the ASTA team," said ASTA Executive Director Dr. Michele Linch. "He is a remarkable teacher who has had a prominent role in spreading the word about ASTA as a member leader. I am thrilled that he will be focusing his efforts fulltime on serving Arkansas' hard-working teachers."

Mr. Flowers has taught Algebra and Geometry in the Bentonville Public Schools for the last twelve years. After hearing about ASTA's professional vision for educators, Mr. Flowers knew that he wanted to join and become involved with spreading the word about the non-union educator movement in the state. As one of the first ten members to join ASTA in Bentonville, Mr. Flowers has gone on to assist ASTA to recruit nearly 300 members in his home district.

"I am honored to be joining the ASTA team full-time," said Mr. Flowers. "I look forward to focusing my efforts on recruitment in the northwest region and presenting my colleagues with an affordable, professional, and nonpartisan alternative in association membership."

The Arkansas State Teachers Association is the state's premier, non-union, professional educators' association, offering a modern approach to teacher representation and educational advocacy. ATSA has members across Arkansas and welcomes professionals from all education entities. Membership is $15 per month which includes $2 million professional liability insurance, employment rights coverage, professional development resources as well as a host of other benefits.
